ZIGS CLASSES - Featuring 3 levels of Pilates with Yoga Stretches
IN ZIGS EXERCISE CLASSES A HANDFUL OF US TRAIN TOGETHER.
- We begin with a friendly chat then guide you through a varied warm up to mobilise our joints.
- We blend Pilates core conditioning to improve strength with restorative Yoga stretching to improve flexibility and balance.
- We aim for 3 levels to cater for varying abilities, from new starters to those improving.
- There is a lot of variety from our experienced teachers and no 2 classes are the same.
- There’s an intentional focus on playful relaxed mindfulness and the cooldown often features meditation and visualisation techniques to encourage a sense of restorative calm energy.
- We welcome questions and enjoy having a chat to close the session too.
We meet Monday & Wednesday evening at 18:05 & Friday mornings at 09:35

TRAIN WITH US EITHER IN PERSON AT OUR STUDIO OR FROM YOUR HOME VIRTUALLY
Some people prefer to do it from home & use their own kit, others prefer in person & some do a mixture of both to suit their schedule and lifestyle.
Others might like to remain less visible by logging in from home. Feeling self-conscious can be a big part of our body journey and we all have different levels of what feels comfortable or too far out of our comfort zone with others. So training virtually can be a great way of gradually improving at home without feeling on show to others who we might compare ourselves to.
So at Zigs we give people the choice.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET SUPPLE, STRETCH OUT & STRONG IN THE CORE?
– Do you know your muscles & joints would feel better doing regular flexibility exercises to feel more supple & stretched out but you don’t do it often enough to make a real difference? Consistency and knowing what to do is a struggle.
– Even though you’re active you’d like a strong core & would like to see toned muscles when you look in the mirror?
– You would improve lots if you practised with a friendly professional who can help you learn the different levels so you can make real progress. Plus you enjoy doing it with others.
– You are active but struggle to practise on your own and you’d like more guidance on stretching, improving core, strength, posture, balance & for some pelvic floor exercises.
– You love the idea of doing it from home but with others so it doesn’t take up lots of time going back & forth to classes. You’re already giving a lot and you need to put energy back in & manage your time well. Life is a juggle.
